Life on the farm

I've started my mini vacation with my parents. As soon as we got out of the car, I took the girls out to be good girls and B ran free over the land. He laughed and smiled, picked up leaves, sat in the grass, and picked up sticks. He just loved the sense of freedom. I enjoyed it, too, because I didn't have to tell him to hold my hand or anything. He really could just run free.

B and Dad had such a fun time playing with the cows today. Dad took B out with him to feed the bull. He put some feed in a big bucket and gave B a little empty ice cream bucket. B was satisfied with it until he noticed that Dad's bucket was not only bigger, but it had something in it.


We're looking forward to the rest of the week. I anticipate lots of time playing outside where the little boy can run around, swing, drive the tractor (with Pops, of course), drive the truck in the yard, and daily trips to see the cows.
