What a personality!

My goodness! Blake has learned so much in the past week. I guess he's making up for the 2 weeks of being sick. He has been so pleasant and I didn't realize just how much I had missed his little hearty laugh. I hated to put him to bed at night because he was so much fun! He has learned where his tongue is and he thinks it's so funny for you to stick your tongue out so he can do it too. He still has to watch you to do it, but yesterday you could see him trying on his own. It was so cute. He also LOVES to walk backwards. He gets quite a kick out of this new accomplishment. He especially likes to do it when he has something that he knows that he isn't supposed to have, or if he wants you to chase him. Have I told you how much I love him?

Yesterday, our Sunday School class went out to eat at Moe's. One of the men in our class was holding Blake and noticed that Blake kept staring at these little girls (about 4 years and under). He asked Blake if he wanted to go walk by them and of course, Blake was game for anything that involved walking AND attention. So the first time they walked by them, Blake just laughed and didn't look at them at all. On their return trip, however, he turned his head all the way around and flashed the youngest girl his full-blown smile. When they returned to the table, Raun asked Blake if he wanted him to give him a dollar so he could go buy the little girl a coke. I, on the other hand, informed Blake that girls had cooties and that they were up to no good!
